Angela Hale Jones

Angela "Angie" Hale Jones of South Boston, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on October 24th, 1956, in Pikeville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Hale and Eva Pinson Hale and was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin "Sput" Jones.

Angie was employed for over 30 years at Halifax Regional Hospital as a registered nurse and nursing supervisor. Angela was known for her nurturing spirit and a deep love for her grandchildren, whom she adored more than anything.

She is survived by a son, Matthew Jones and wife, Megan; daughter, Sarah Spencer and husband, Tony; grandchildren, Caitlin Comer and Maverick Jones.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Halifax Memorial Gardens with Pastor Zane Lowery officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 4th from 6 PM until 7:30 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
