Aubrey Eugene Wooldridge

Aubrey Eugene Wooldridge of South Boston passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 the age of 71. He was born in Lynchburg, VA on June 17, 1954 to the late Aubrey Jett Wooldridge, Jr. and Virginia Hupp Wooldridge.

Aubrey loved going around town, especially to Walmart to meet up and visit with friends. He loved his Mom dearly and took care of her until she passed.

He is survived by a sister, Linda Poteat (Gerald); nephews, Kenny Wooldridge, Brandon Wooldridge, Christopher Poteat (Stacey) and Eric Poteat (Melissa); and great nieces & nephews, Jacob Kamryn, Liam Katie & Christian Poteat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nannie Mae Wooldridge and a brother, Claude Dudley Wooldridge.
