Carlene Yawn

Carlene Yawn, widow of the late Alton Yawn, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the age of 79. She was born in Texas on July 1, 1941 to the late Gordon and Bertie Massey. Carlene enjoyed fishing whenever she had the chance and was fond of her grandchildren, who she loved with all her heart. Mrs. Yawn is survived by her son, Roger Waddle and wife, Donna, of Halifax; her daughter, Tammy Broxton and husband, David, of Burlington, NC; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Yawn was preceded in death by her four sisters and her brother. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
