David Keith Irby

David Keith Irby of Halifax passed away at his home on Monday, August 4, 2025 at the age of 55. He was born in Halifax County on January 7, 1970 to Bettie Fulcher Irby and the late John O. Irby II.

David was a HVAC service tech and enjoyed boating and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Bettie; siblings, Deborah Morris (C.J.), Deanna Weatherford (Randy), Matt Irby (Wendy), Tim Irby (Cherie) and Mark Irby (Montie); 7 nieces, 3 nephews, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece. He was preceded in death by his father, John O. Irby II.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Halifax Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chuck Barton officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the home.
