Earl "Sonny" Martin

NATHALIE Mr. Earl Leonard “Sonny” Martin, husband of Linda Saunders Martin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 76.He was born in Halifax County on August 22, 1942 to the late Leonard and Gracie Martin. Mr. Martin was saved in 2007 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone and retired from ABB. He loved hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, Linda, of the home, he is survived by a daughter, Tracey Ragsdale and husband, Kelvin; a son, Gary Martin and wife, Sunshine; grandchildren, Heather Spencer and husband, Cody, Andrew Ragsdale, Isaac Ragsdale, Trinity Martin, Blakely Martin, Trafton Martin and Dylan Plainte; sisters, Lorene East and husband, Jack, Jo Lowery and husband, Dewey, and Ruth Puryear and numerous other family members. Funeral Services for Mr. Martin will be on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Millstone with Pastor Todd McClure officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00 – 2:00 at the church and at other times his home, 1051 Millstone Church Trail, Nathalie.
