Eli Owen Newcomb

Scottsburg, VA -- Early Sunday, January 23, 2022, God called His angel, Eli Owen Newcomb, home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Christmas Eve in 2015 to Erica Wilson Newcomb and Stephen Bruce Newcomb. Bursting with personality, Eli was a kindergartener that loved his family, loved to laugh and enjoyed being outdoors. He embraced life in his short time on Earth. Surviving Superman are his mother, Erica Newcomb and friend, Scott Day; his father, Stephen Newcomb and wife, Courtney; his siblings, Ryder and Maverick; his grandparents, Mark and Lynn Wilson and Gordon and Terri Newcomb and his great grandparents, Joyce Morris, Brenda and James Macy, and Henry Wilson. Preceding Eli in death are his great grandparents, JH Cline, Elizabeth Cline, Lina Newcomb, Otha Newcomb, and Page Morris. Funeral services for Eli Newcomb will be held on January 26, 2022, at 2:00PM in the Brooks Lyon Chapel with Pastor Todd McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.
