Elizabeth "Lisa" Kimble Ladd

South Boston - Elizabeth "Lisa" Kimble Ladd of South Boston, VA died on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the age of 50. Lisa was born in Halifax Co., VA on January 12, 1965 to Lynwood Carl Ladd and Helen Elizabeth Elliott Ladd. She was a member of Berry Hill Presbyterian Church and was a home health director for 17 years. Lisa loved her family and people in general. She always loved to help others. She is survived by her parents, Lynwood Carl Ladd and Helen Elizabeth Elliott Ladd of South Boston; brothers, Robert Carl Ladd and wife, Leigh of Stuarts Draft, VA and David Elliott Ladd and wife, Angela of Nelson, VA; nieces, Karen Scott and Chyna Ladd; nephews, Michael Ladd and Parker Ladd; and many good friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel for one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home, 408 Powell Rd., South Boston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
