Elizabeth Brandon Tate

Mrs. Elizabeth Brandon Tate of 1123 Medley Rd., Alton, VA died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the age of 75. She was born in Halifax Co., VA on April 30, 1936 to the late Earl Clinton Brandon and the late Maud Hall Brandon and was married to Carroll F. Tate. Mrs. Tate was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Carroll F. Tate of Alton, VA; and a step son, Paul F. Tate of South Boston, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a step son, Randy "Rambo" Tate. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ann Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home.
