Ethel Kinder Whitt

Ethel Kinder Whitt of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and formerly of South Boston passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the age of 90.

Ethel was born on July 12, 1935, in Buchanan, Virginia, to the late George and Jennie Smith Kinder. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Whitt Jr.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A hard-working and dedicated individual, Ethel spent many years as a skilled solderer at Wabash Magnetics.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Thomas officiating.
