Evelyn Layne Hall

Mrs. Evelyn Layne Hall of 184 Indian Trail, Buffalo Junction, VA died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born in Halifax Co., VA on January 10, 1934 to the late John William Layne and the late Bessie Wallace Layne and was married to Joseph Luther Hall. Mrs. Hall was retired from Burlington Industries where she was an instructor. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Luther Hall of Buffalo Junction, VA; a daughter, Barbara Gail Hall of Halifax, VA; a son and special daughter, Joseph William Hall and his wife, Bonita of Halifax, VA; a sister, Janie of Washington; seven grandchildren, Dwayne, Scott, Chad, Angel, Nina, Joe, and Mandy; and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Virgilina Cemetery with Rev. Norman Talley officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home, 184 Indian Trail, Buffalo Junction, VA.
