Frances Anne "Fran" Pittard Gregory, 54, wife of Thomas Young Gregory, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Fran was born December 1, 1958 to William Robert Pittard, deceased, and Jacqueline P. Pittard. A graduate of Bluestone High School with the Class of 1977, Fran continued her education at Mary Baldwin College, graduating in 1990 with an A average in her studies and obtaining a BA in Computer Science and Accounting. Her working career started in 1977 as a Sales Representative in the newspaper industry. From 1997 until 2000, she was the head accountant with Triangle Transit Authority and from then until the present, she was a Business Analyst for UNC Physicians Associates. Her greatest joy in life was her son Will, and it was her desire to make sure he had the best that life could offer. Fran loved to cook and she used that talent to help the needy through her church and her work. She loved animals. A member of Peace Presbyterian Church, PCA in Cary, Fran was most proud of being a Christian and after she became ill, she escalated her witness to Christ.
