George Timothy Overbey

George Timothy Overbey, 48, husband of Sherrie Vaughan Overbey, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 27, 2013. George was born March 30, 1965 to George Oliff "G.O." Overbey, deceased and Della Elliott Yancey of Clarksville. His working career was in construction and he loved to hunt and fish in his spare time. In addition to his wife and mother, George is survived by his children, Brandie Overbey Kevin of Chase City; George T. Overbey, Jr. Janie and Christopher Overbey, all of Turbeville. His brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Shirley Overbey of Nelson; sister, Tammy Skorcz of Arkansas and grandchildren, Kathy and Jennifer Overbey also survive. There will be a graveside service in the Overbey family cemetery at 1PM on Tuesday.
