Haley Virginia Overby, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and granddaughter, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the age of 24. A resident of Virgilina, Virginia, Haley's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched everyone she met.
Born on May 29, 2002, Haley grew up in a loving family, surrounded by the beauty of Virginia. She embraced life's challenges with determination and grace, crafting a legacy defined by strength and love. She had the most outgoing personality and always had a joke for any situation.
Family was the most important thing in Haley's life, and she loved her son and grandmother more than anything.
Haley worked as a dedicated Nonconveyer Filler, at Dollar General Distribution Center.
Her life will be celebrated on June 20, 2026, with a Memorial Service commencing at 3:00 PM at the Hitesburg Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The burial will be followed by a gathering in the fellowship hall, a time to share stories, laughter, and the cherished memories that Haley leaves behind.
Haley is survived by her loving sister, Carissa Overby of Oklahoma City, OK; her cherished sister, Jade Overby (Hay Hay) of Buffalo Junction; her adored son, Kyng Jones; her devoted grandmother, Annie Overby; and her caring uncles, Wade Overby (Amanda) and Steve Fisher (Tammy). She will also be fondly remembered by her cousins, Derrick Fisher and Dillon Fisher ( Morgan).
Preceding Haley in death are her parents, Darrell Lynn Overby and Vicki Fisher Overby.
Arrangements have been provided by Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, ensuring Haley's final farewell is conducted with the compassion and respect she so deserves.
In her brief yet impactful life, Haley Overby reminded us all of the power of love, resilience, and family. Her legacy will continue through the lives of those she touched, a testament to a life lived with unending grace and courage.
