Ida Newman

Ida Ludewig Newman, 87, widow of Edwin John Newman died on February 16, 2012 in Clarksville, VA. She was born on March 17, 1924 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Arthur and Mary Dox Ludewig . She is survived by her daughter Patricia Furrevig and her son Thomas Edwin Newman. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Janice Elliott, Heather Newman, Jacqueline Powell; a grandson Matthew Newman and two great-grandchildren. Ida loved nature and being outdoors, she enjoyed nothing more than her gardening as well as times spent camping with her husband in New York.
