Jackie Conner Anderson

Jackie Conner Anderson, a resident of Nathalie, VA, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Halifax County on December 1, 1943, he was the son of Aubrey Lewis Anderson and Sarah Conner Anderson. He is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Judy Conner Anderson.

A graduate of Halifax County High School, Class of 1962, Jackie dedicated many years to his work at Daystrom and later D-Scan, demonstrating commitment and excellence in everything he did. Following his career, Jackie pursued his entrepreneurial dream, owning and operating a local store for 11 years in the community. Jackie had an undeniable passion for nature, finding immense joy in watching the birds that visited his garden. His gardens were not only a testament to his love of the land but also to his nurturing soul, always willing to share the fruits of his labor with those in need. Jackie’s love for NASCAR racing was also a favorite pasttime.

Jackie is survived by his devoted spouse, Judy Conner Anderson; devoted niece, Tammy Clay; nephew, Donald Clay; great great niece, Laci Tucker; brothers, Aubrey Anderson (Anne), Ray Anderson and Ricky Anderson; great friends, Cindi & Bill Smith and Patsy & Hagood Owen; and a host of nieces & nephews and friends.

A private service for Jackie will be held at a later date.
