James Thomas "Tommy" Holland

HALIFAX, VA Mr. James Thomas "Tommy" Holland, Jr. of Halifax, VA died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the age of 55. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on June 16, 1959 , the son of the late James Thomas Holland, Sr. and the late Edith Satterfield Holland and was married to Wanda Vaughan Holland. Mr. Holland worked at Burlington Industries for many years and owned and operated TCC Cleaning. A member of Centerville Baptist Church, he was a soul winner and an avid weight lifter. Survivors include his wife, Wanda V. Holland of Halifax, VA; a sister, Mary Holland James of Boydton, VA; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Elmer and Helen Vaughan of Halifax, VA; Sisters-in-law, Susan V. Knight and husband, Rick and Dale V. Loftis and husband, Tim of Virgilina, VA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Centerville Baptist Church with The Reverend Todd McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Centerville Baptist Church on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM and at other times at the home of Elmer and Helen Vaughan, 2008 Murphy Grove Rd., Halifax, VA 24558.
