Jean Richardson Cranford

Mrs. Helen Jean Richardson Cranford, 70, wife of Jerry Lee Cranford, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at MeadowView Terrace in Clarksville. The daughter of Ellis Gunn and Eunice Jones Richardson, Jean was born and reared in Halifax County. She was retired from Adelphia Communications where she was a Customer Service Representative. She had also worked for Dr. Gil Abenis. Graveside memorial services will be 2PM Tuesday at Halifax Memorial Garden with Reverend Jack Stewart officiating. In addition to her husband of 53 years, Jean is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Glenn Boyd of Bullock, NC, and Cynthia and Bryan Cole of South Boston; brother, Phillip Richardson of Silina, KA and sister, Martha Chandler of Halifax. Six grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren also survive.
