Jeanette Woody Wilborn

Mrs. Jeanette Woody Wilborn of 1022 Paradise Rd., Alton died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the age of 75. Mrs. Wilborn was born May 19, 1935 in Halifax County the daughter of the late Bill Woody and the late Annie Smith Woody and was married to Tim M. Wilborn. She was a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church and a retired seamstress with Burlington Industries. Mrs. Wilborn is survived by her husband, Tim M. Wilborn of Alton; one daughter, Mary Annie Womack & her husband, Donald of South Boston; two grandchildren; Joey Womack and Lora Womack of South Boston and two sisters, Lillian Cole of South Boston and Rebecca Yeates of Richmond. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Black Walnut Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Raymond Wooten and Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and at other times at the home, 1022 Paradise Rd., Alton.
