Jessica Renae Williams

Jessica Renae Williams, a beloved daughter, wife, and friend, passed away on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, at the tender age of 22. Jessica was born on January 17th, 2003, and was a cherished resident of Buffalo Junction, VA.

Jessica brought joy and kindness to everyone she met. A graduate of Halifax County High School, she was pursuing her dream of becoming a dental hygienist, demonstrating her dedication to helping others. Her commitment to her work as a security guard at Microsoft was a testament to her strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.

Jessica’s heart was full of love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, with whom she shared a special bond. She was a best friend to many, always showing compassion and warmth, and she cherished the simple joys of life, like going out to eat with loved ones.

She is survived by her loving parents, Shelton Alexander Boyter Sr. and Sharon Anita Wells, as well as her spouse, Huey Williams. She is also survived by her sisters, Emma Stanley, Tiffany Boyter, Makayla Boyter, and Ariana Tolliver; her brother, Shelton "Alex" Boyter Jr.; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and best friends, Ashley Clay, Laura Wells, Taylor Boyter, and Abby Hill. Her family and friends will forever remember her infectious smile and generous spirit.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sadie Hite Boyter and her maternal grandparents, Emma and Gus Wells.

A visitation will be held at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, VA, on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home to honor and celebrate Jessica’s life.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Jessica’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
