Kenneth Lee Everhart passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on June 29th, 1937, in North Carolina, to his late parents, Britton Everhart and Louise Carter Everhart. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Culley Everhart.
Kenneth proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, where he embodied the values of dedication and service. After his military service, he pursued a successful career as an electrician, a profession into which he poured his skill and passion. Kenneth was a man of many interests and spent his life enjoying the great outdoors and America's favorite pastimes. His love for hunting and fishing was well-known among family and friends, and he never missed an opportunity to cast a line or take to the woods. Kenneth also had a deep-seated enthusiasm for baseball and NASCAR, passions he shared with countless friends and loved ones over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel; son, Michael Everhart (Leann); daughter, Lisa Pointer (Louis); son, Michael Nichols (Tammy); 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sisters, Brenda Finley & Sarah Johnson.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Clover Cemetery with Pastor Rick Wallin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and other times at his home.
