SOUTH BOSTON Mrs. Kimberly Francisco Newby, wife of the late Freddy Nathaniel Newby, Jr passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021. Kim was born on October 7, 1961 to the late Raymond H. Francisco and the late Betty Owen Conner. Kim was a very caring person, having been a nurse for 23 years. She was a former member of Cluster Springs Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Freddy N. “Trey” Newby, III and James Nelson Newby and wife, Codi; sister, Karen Yeaman and husband, Harry; brother, Kevin Francisco and wife, Margo; step sisters, Teresa Brooks, Dawn Rolfe and husband, Raymond and Wendy Casen; her beloved dog, Daisy and numerous other family members. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Reverend Doug Ballew officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home. Due to Covid restrictions everyone is asked to wear face a mask andsocial distance.
