Korbin Drake Lafluer

Mr. Korbin Drake LaFluer of 703 Greenway Dr., South Boston, VA died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the age of 6. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on July 10, 2006 to Kristy Cole LaFluer and Christopher LaFluer. Korbin attended The Worship Ceneter, South Boston Elementary School and played T-Ball for the GCR team. Survivors include his mother, Kristy Cole LaFluer of South Boston, VA; his father, Christopher LaFluer, Sr.; one sister, Kayla Cole of South Boston, VA; one brother, Christopher LaFluer, Jr. of Halifax, VA; maternal grandmother, Brenda Cole of South Boston, VA; paternal grandparents, Dennis & Pauline LaFluer of Roanoke, VA; his aunt, Dana Mayo & her husband, Bruce of Halifax, VA; his uncle, R.D. Cole, Jr. & his wife, Dori of Alton, VA; cousins, Lucy Settle, Paten Cole, Anna Blair Mayo; special friend, Jake Brown; and his pet hermit crab, Mr. Crabs. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Doug Cole. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Berry and Rev. Norman Talley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cole Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM on Sunday prior to the service and at other times at the home.
