Lisa Mae Glasscock Fitts

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lisa Mae Glasscock Fitts, who departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the age of 56. She was born on May 7, 1970, in Mecklenburg County, to the late John Herbert Glasscock and Betty Jane Stembridge Glasscock. Lisa was married to Danny Lee Fitts, who survives. Together, they built a life filled with love and happiness.

Lisa devoted her entire life to being a dedicated wife, mother, nanny, sister and friend, always putting her family first and offering her love and support unconditionally. Time never determined the depth of her love, if she cared for you, she loved you as family. As much as she loved her family and friends, she was truly the heart of their world. Lisa had a vibrant spirit that shone through in the hobbies she loved. She found joy in making crafts and arranging flowers, creating beautiful pieces that brought smiles to all who saw them. Her latest hobby was dressing her porch goose.

In addition to her husband, Danny; she was survived by her children, Crystal Spicer, Amanda "J Bug" Spicer and Emmett "Bubba" Spicer; step-children, Carla, Nathan and Justin Fitts; grandchildren, Trenton Dawson, Jordan Spicer, Elijah "Eli" Spicer, Kynleigh "Kyn Kyn" Moyer and Liam Spicer O'Naghten; sister, Janice Glasscock and brother, Michael Glasscock (Angie); several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Wade Glasscock.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at True Light Baptist Church, Huell Matthews Hwy., Alton, VA with Pastor Greg Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1 PM until 2 PM at the church and other times at the home.
