Lula Wilson Morris

Mrs. Lula Wilson Morris of 3236 Wilson Rd., Virgilina, VA died Friday, July 1, 2010 at the age of 81. She was born in Halifax County on February 21, 1929, the daughter of the late Joe David Wilson and Annie Rosa Cole Wilson and was married to the late Albert Kenneth Morris. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of Willow Oak Christian Church. Mrs. Morris is survived by her son, Waverly Morris of Virgilina and a grandson, Collin Morris of Virgilina. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Samuel Morris . Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Willow Oak Christian Church with Dr. Michael Haskett officiating. Burial will follow in Virgilina Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Willow Oak Christian Church on Saturday night from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. and at other times at the home of Waverly Morris, 4001 Wilson Rd, Virgilina, VA.
