Muriel Hudson Williams

Muriel Hudson Williams went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 3, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born in Halifax County on April 2, 1937 to the late Floyd and Virginia Hudson.

She was a faithful and active member of North Fork Baptist Church and dearly loved all her church family. Muriel was a member for over 70 years. She was a member of the Women on Mission and over a span of 12 years she made over 1,000 dolls for the Samantha Dolls Project.

She is survived by her children, Roy David Williams, Donna Williams and Deena Williams Seigla (Tim); grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Danielle Williams Shelton (Ethan), Kasey Williams Bratton (Trevor), Ryan Williams Young (Robert), Jewel Williams, Amanda Seigla Walker (Chris) and Josh Seigla (Aubrey); great grandchildren, Oliver Lacy, Skylar Hackney, Calleigh Hackney, Daisy Hairston, Violet Hairston, Grant Shelton, Ellie Shelton, Sadie Shelton, Jax Newbill, Shelby Walker, Lanna Walker, Lucia Seigla, Rylan Seigla and Barrett Seigla; Siblings, Hilton Hudson (Ann), Curtis Hudson, Linda Hudson Gale (Ross), Judy Hudson Lee (Winston), and Alan Hudson (Harriett); sister in law, Sandra Hudson; brother in law, Melvin Bowen and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Wesley Williams & Dale Williams; grandchildren, Bridget Short & Brian Short; siblings, Hollis Bowen, David Hudson & Paul Hudson and sisters in law, Phyllis Hudson & Erline Hudson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at North Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Ballew officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9th one hour prior to the service,10 AM until 11 AM, at North Fork Baptist Church and other times at the home.
