Nancy Williamson Weston, a beloved resident of Clarksville, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on December 26th, 1953, Nancy's life was a testament to love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Dennis Lee Weston, cherished children, Bobby Jean Nelson (Richard) and Stacey Ray Jones (Laura), who were the pride and joy of her life. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, William Ray "Buck" Cox III, Ashley Nicole Talley, Daniel Ray Jones, Travis Nathaniel Jones, Brandon Edward Jones, and Matthew Roy Jones, as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Claire Elizabeth Cox, Baron Williamson Cox, Aubrey Lee Jones, Eli Ray Jones, Opie Ray Jones, Scarlett Edith-Ann Jones, Oliver Nathaniel Jones, and Mila Nicole Talley. Nancy cherished every moment spent with her large family and leaves behind a treasure of joyful memories. Nancy's life was enriched by her special friendship with Melissa Weston Hudson, Ann Reamy, and Christine Hicks who remained a dear and supportive presence.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Roy Franklin Williamson and Betty Stone Williamson, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.
A dedicated worker, Nancy spent her career at Burlington Industries. She also found immense joy in farming, a connection to the earth that reflected her grounded and nurturing spirit. Outside of her professional life, she was an avid horse rider and had a profound love for her dogs and horses. Nancy found peace and happiness in the great outdoors, often camping with her family and enjoying the simple beauty of nature. Her love for her family was immense, and she never missed an opportunity to show it.
As a devoted member of Hitesburg Baptist Church, Nancy's faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her through times of joy and challenge with grace.
Family and friends are invited to honor Nancy's life and legacy at the visitation, which will be held at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, VA, on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the same location. Following the service, Nancy will be laid to rest at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Buffalo Junction, VA.

Nancy's life was a reflection of love, strength, and compassion. Her spirit will continue to inspire and bring warmth to those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
