Nina Holt Estes

Mrs. Nina Holt Estes of South Boston died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the age of 85. She was born in Halifax Co., VA on February 21, 1929 to the late Carey Holt and the late Josephine Jennings Holt and was married to the late Carroll Roland Estes. Mrs. Estes was a member of McCanless Memorial United Methodist Church and worked at J.P. Stevens for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Duffey and husband, William of South Boston, VA;three sisters; four brothers; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11 AM at Mt. Laurel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 AM until 10:30 AM.
