Patricia Mae Clark McKean, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on Tuesday, March 1st, 1927, Patricia graced this world with her kindness and creativity, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.

Patricia is survived by her three loving daughters: Sandra O'Heren, Joette VanBuskirk and her husband George VanBuskirk, and Bonnie Dailey and her husband Anthony Dailey. Her nurturing spirit extends through her lineage, with eight grandchildren who fondly remember her many lessons and stories, eighteen great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy, and four great-great-grandchildren who were blessed to spend time with her.

She was preceded in death by her dearly missed parents, William Clark and Mary Clark and a beloved granddaughter Dawn Nemac.

Patricia was dedicated to her work as a hostess at Lord's Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania, where she warmly greeted guests with her charming presence. She also made contributions to her community through her work at Russell Stover's and the Pink Giraffe in Clarksville, Virginia, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

As a faithful member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Patricia devoted her time and talents to serve as a Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister, and Offering Counter. She will be remembered for her magnificent floral arrangements that graced the church, reflecting her boundless creativity and reverence for beauty.

Outside of her church duties, Patricia found joy in gardening, crocheting, painting, and cooking. She was an artist of many mediums, sharing her creations and love through her crafts and culinary delights.

A Funeral Mass for Patricia will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, in Clarksville, VA, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 28th. Following the services, she will be laid to rest at Oakhurst Cemetery. The family would also like to invite those in attendance to a repast following the burial, which will also be at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.

Arrangements have been lovingly entrusted to Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, as Patricia wished.

Patricia Mae McKean’s life was a testament to family, faith, and service. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and creativity that will continue to inspire those who had the honor of knowing her. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and the Clarksville community.
