Phillip Stanley "Stan" Wilborn II

Mr. Phillip Stanley "Stan" Wilborn II died on May 20, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born in Danville, VA on August 4, 1960 to the late Phillip S. Wilborn and Sylvia Lassiter Wilborn.

Stan enjoyed playing golf in Southern Pines and Pinehurst. He also enjoyed watching and rooting on his favorite sports teams. Stan owned a Transportation company and loved meeting and talking to his clients on their drive.

He is survived by his mother Sylvia Wilborn; brother Scott Wilborn and wife, Julie Wilborn; niece, Alexandria Postlethwait (Trey); and nephew, Benjamin Wilborn. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip and grandparents, Algie and Mazy Wilborn.

A graveside celebration of Stan’s life will be held on Thursday, June 5,2025 at the Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery in Cluster Springs, VA at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Raymond Wooten officiating.
