Rosella Bormann Asher

Rosella “Sally” Bormann Asher, 84, of Buffalo Junction, VA passed away in South Boston, VA, on February 24, 2023. Sally was born in Algona, IA, on October 7, 1938, to Rosalia and Frank Bormann. She attended St. Joseph’s High School and George Washington University. Sally married William “Bill” John Asher, and together they had 3 children, Johanna, William “Bill” Jr., and Allison. She worked as a mother, an executive assistant and enjoyed both gardening and baking. Sally was also a proud member of St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic Community.

Sally is survived by her husband, Bill; her children and her grandchildren, Hunter, Sam, and Corinna Asher and Kyle Mann and her siblings Ronald Bormann, Karel Bormann, Arlene Ballard and Judy Prejean. She was predeceased by her siblings, Betty Reding, Luella Cannon and Marjory Bormann.

Memorial services will be held at St. Catherine of Siena, Clarksville, VA, on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 10:00 am.  Memorial donations may be made in Sally Asher’s name to Dementia Society of America at https://www.dementiasociety.org .
