Shelia York Turner, 63, wife of Daniel A. Turner of Augusta, GA, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at her home in Clarksville. Reared in Alabama and Georgia, Mrs. Turner was the daughter of Leroy and Christine Stewart York. She is survived by her children, Christa DeAnne Newton of Hickory, NC; James Cameron Turner of Cincinnati, OH and Shannon Daniel Turner of Clarksville. A sister, Joy Y. Dean of Ringgold, GA and brother, Ronnie York of Fort Oglethorpe, GA also survive. A memorial service will be held 2PM Saturday at Bluestone Independent Baptist Church with the Reverend Ryan McGuire officiating.
