Susan Guill Lacks

Susan Wilbourne Guill Lacks, of Scottsburg, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the age of 66. She was born on November 29, 1959 in Halifax County to Bernard and Evelyn Dunn Wilbourne. She is survived by her husband, Stacey Lynn Lacks.

Susan loved her family and always made a point of checking in with her daughters. She valued staying connected with the people she cared about most. In addition to her devotion to family, Susan enjoyed keeping up with current events and staying informed about what was happening around the world.

In addition to her husband, Stacey, she is survived by her loving daughters, Brandy Blount (David), Beth Pool (Jason) and Brittany Dudley (Justin); her adored grandchildren, Alexis Blount, Madison Blount, Mackensey Blount, Justin Pool, Nathan Dudley, and Cameron Dudley; and her special friends, Nancy Hatcher and Rhonda Foreman.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Guill and her brothers, Jerry Wilbourne and Gary Wilbourne.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour before the service, starting at 10:00 AM.
