Valrie Covington Loftis

Valrie Covington Loftis of South Boston, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 75. She was born in Halifax County on March 16, 1946, to the late Benton and Helen Roberson Covington. Valrie was a registered nurse who excelled in caring for others, whether it be her family, her pets or complete strangers. She enjoyed her family and her dogs the most, sewing, quilting and watching her family in sporting events. Valrie was a member of the South Boston Church of God. Cherishing her memory are her daughters, Adrienne Blanks and Angela Allred; grandchildren, Ashlan Garber (Dax), Tannar Blanks (Taylor), Trevor Seate (Emily), Noah Seate (Katie), Collin Loftis, Chloe Loftis, Chance Allred, Bryleigh Allred, Kristin Rutherford (Warren) and Kenley Allred; great grandchildren, Dannon, Jett, Nora, Nash, Ryland, Shanleigh, Bronwyn and Hadley. She is also survived by a sister, Vicky C. Daniel (Judson) and special friend, Sandy Klatke. Services will be held at a later date.
