Wanda Hudson Lacks of Clover, VA., passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at the age of 71. She was born in Halifax County on April 11, 1955 to the late James Davis Hudson and the late Hannah Clay Hudson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Junior Lacks.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Martin.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara C. Newcomb; brothers, Robert M. Hudson, Danny Hudson, and Lee Conner; and a special nephew, Nick Hudson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Clover Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 7 PM until 8:30 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
